Our clients here had an existing patio cover but wanted more space. They wanted to be able to cook and enjoy sitting around a fire in the evenings. We transformed this backyard by removing the existing patio cover and building an entirely new one.

The flooring is a light walnut travertine paver set in a French pattern and the fireplace is a vent-free linear burner fireplace. Stacked stone panels accent the floor nicely on the fireplace and columns with travertine caps to finish. Above the fireplace, we installed a cedar accent wall for the TV. The ceiling is a pre-stained tongue and groove pine with recessed cans and ceiling fans. The cooking area was welded on site with a stacked stone panel finish and granite countertop. We installed a pedestal area for the smoke and built in the griddle for the client to utilize along with an under-counter refrigerator.
