Our clients on this project wanted more coverage on their patio to stay out of the sun while not in the pool. We extended the roof line and removed an existing brick column to give us much more of an open feel. We added a cooking area that was welded on site with a stone veneer installed. The granite counter top has a brushed finish to it. The ceiling is a painted tongue and groove that is flat at 10’ along with recessed cans, ceiling fans and electrical heaters. We installed motorized screens and a screen door for access to the area beyond the patio.
Additionally, we poured new concrete to allow for the fire pit and a bigger entertaining area around the pool. The new garden area was built up to allow for seasonal vegetables. We built a gas fire pit with glass media installed on the interior. The burner is a linear burner that ignites with a log lighter and key valve and the lights under the edge of the fire pit are low voltage lights to accent the stone.
