This client recently moved in to the area and purchased a beautiful home but the cooking area wasn’t covered. We added a hip roof patio cover to maximize shade but created volume on the inside of the ceiling by sloping the ceiling to follow in line with the roof line. We installed a pre-stain tongue and groove pine ceiling, cedar columns, along with a ceiling fan and recessed cans.
